Smart-Taq Hot DNA Polymerase, 10 U/µl
Smart-Taq red Enzyme properties

Smart-Taq Hot is chemically modified Smart-Taq. The enzyme is inactive at ambient temperature, having no polymerase activity. To activate the Smart-Taq Hot it should be incubated at 95 - 97 degrees C for 15 minutes.

This enzyme allows the PCR setup at ambient temperature without nonspecific annealing and extension.

Quality data

Activity and stability tested at 20, 30 and 40 cycles of PCR reactions at 95 degrees C.
Tested for the absence of human DNA contamination by PCR with Alu-specific primers.

Unit definition

One unit of the enzyme catalyzes the incorporation of 10 nanomoles of deoxyribonucleotides into a polynucleotide fraction at 70 degrees C.

Composition of the set

Smart-Taq Hot in storage buffer
10X Reaction buffer
10X Reaction buffer with ammonium sulfate
25 mM Magnesium chloride solution

Storage conditions

Smart-Taq Hot will remain stable at -20 degrees C in a constant temperature freezer.
